Action for community.
The bridge between NGOs.
Born from COVID-era relief work, ABF is the connective tissue between civil society, government, and the underprivileged communities we serve โ not another NGO competing on the same patch, but the bridge that makes the others stronger.
Be the bridge. Don't duplicate.
ABF was started by people who spent two and a half years on the ground during COVID โ getting hospital beds, running emergency response, coordinating burials and cremations, helping with Shramik trains, organising relief at scale across Bengaluru.
When we started ABF, we didn't want to compete with the NGOs we'd worked alongside. We wanted to connect them. The work we do โ Active Health, equipment banks, scheme awareness, advocacy โ is overarching infrastructure that other NGOs can rely on, build on, and route their cases through.
That's the model. A people's movement.
